Romance happens in the dream world,

it finds places in novels like Gone with Wind

happens in movies like Lonely Planet

and it thrives on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.

But true love, with all its sweetness;

is not for me in reality.

How many movie heroes have I fantasized

and imagined the wildest romance?

Richard Gere and Tom Hanks for the starting,

then tracing to Amitabh Bachchan,

Roger Moore and Wahid Murad; on goes the list.

How many dreams did I weave in days and nights?

In movies, they are a woman’s dream,

perfect in every role;

how can I not fall for them?

In storybooks and films,

true love descends unexpectedly

and often for silly reasons.

At times, professionals find love

and unite for significant causes.

My dilemma,

I am not a professional, nor can I trust

foolish moments as in cinemas
