The Creator Loves Varieties

Reflection

The trunk and branches of the tree casting their shadow on my window differ; the thick trunk gives way to slenderness and continues to thinner tips where they dance out with leaves. The leaves, similar in shape, are not alike; some are big, some are small, and some are wider than others. The tree stands out from the others around it; it has a thick vine with purple flowers. The wisteria finds strength in climbing, leaning on that particular tree. God gave the poplar a sharing ground, unlike the other trees that stood independent and firm, living through the seasons.

Below the tree, gardenias line the lawn, their thick green foliage flowering with creamy white blooms in summer. The cloying scent of the flowers fills the heart and mind with gladness, especially early in the morning when the air is fresh. The gardenias come with creamy petals that are not uniform in size, but together they send us their fragrance, giving us a sense of unity with the Creator. Besides the white gardenias, the endless colors of spring and summer blooms are too numerous to name or count. Leaving the tree, my eyes wander to the sky; up there lies another ever-changing world of clouds. Giant balls of white clouds float in the blue summer sky; they come in all sizes, and when they disintegrate with the wind, they take on different forms. And there is the sun, the blessed energy to
